Porch & Plenty was founded by Holly McGinnis, a lifelong host, experienced party planner, and the owner of Di Rizzo mobile bar. As a mother of two and a grandmother, Holly understands how much care goes into making a home feel welcoming—and how quickly the work behind that feeling can take over your time.
She created Porch & Plenty to give Central Ohio homeowners the seasonal entrance they imagine without the shopping, hauling, and uncertainty. Every collection is designed to feel abundant, thoughtful, and appropriate for the home it welcomes.
A welcoming home begins before anyone steps through the door. I want every Porch & Plenty display to create that feeling without asking families to spend a weekend making it happen.

A few things to know before you request.
Direct answers about care, access, service area, and optional removal.
How long should the display last?
Most pumpkin displays last one to two months. Lifespan depends on the weather: extreme heat can cause earlier softening, while cooler weather can help a display last longer. It is normal for a few pumpkins to soften before the rest.
What happens if something spoils?
Because pumpkins and flowers are natural, perishable products, all sales are final. If you experience unusual deterioration within the first seven days after installation, contact us. We’ll review the issue and, when appropriate, replace affected pumpkins or make reasonable corrections.
Do I need to be home?
Usually not, provided we can safely access the porch. We’ll confirm access instructions before your appointment.
What areas do you serve?
Our confirmed service ZIP codes are 43016, 43017, 43026, 43054, 43065, 43081, 43082, 43085, 43086, 43202, 43212, 43215, 43220, 43221. Use the ZIP checker above or email us if you are unsure.
When does removal happen?
If you purchase removal for a fall display, choose the week before or the week after Thanksgiving. Winter-display removal takes place during the week of New Year’s. Removal pricing depends on your package and is shown before you request a date.
Can I keep the pieces?
Yes. Every piece in your display is yours to keep unless you purchase optional post-season removal.
What about wildlife or weather damage?
We apply a pet-safe, wildlife-safe repellent to discourage nibbling, but no repellent can guarantee wildlife will stay away. Refunds are not provided for normal aging, wildlife or pet damage, theft, or vandalism.
Can I amend my order?
You may amend or edit your order within 24 hours of placement. After that period, all sales are final. Contact us directly with any concern and we’ll review the situation and do our best to make it right.
When is payment due?
Full payment is collected securely through Stripe when you book. Payment reserves capacity in your requested installation window.
What happens after I book?
A member of our team reviews your package, address, notes, and requested window within 24 hours. We then confirm the exact installation date or offer a nearby alternative for your approval.
